A precisely die-cut masking template for spraying the frames of the canopy of the Mitsubishi Ki-15 aircraft in 1:72 scale. The long glazing of this two-seat machine has a whole row of small panes, and masking them by hand is especially laborious in a small scale - the finished segments of the template cut the work down to a few minutes.
The Mitsubishi Ki-15 was a fast single-engined reconnaissance aircraft of the Japanese army from the end of the 1930s. World fame was won by the civil example named Kamikaze (Divine Wind), which in 1937 made the celebrated flight from Tokyo to London and became the first Japanese-registered aircraft to reach Europe. The military Ki-15 machines then served for reconnaissance in China and in the opening phase of the Second World War.
Degrease the clear part, transfer the individual segments with tweezers and press the edges down carefully - in 1:72 scale tenths of a millimeter decide the result. Spray light layers, the interior shade first and then the external color. Take the mask off once it has dried, at a sharp angle. The result is thin, straight lines on the frames of the kind that are hard to achieve with tape by hand.
A masking accessory - the kit, the paints and the glue are not included in the package.
