An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Opel Blitz Omnibus model W.39 bus in the Ludewig coachbuilt configuration, the late variant. The set holds plastic parts, photo-etched parts and decals; the model is built and painted.
The Opel Blitz Omnibus came about on the chassis of the Opel Blitz truck and during the Second World War it served as a bus for carrying people and for staff and ambulance duties. The bodies built by the Ludewig company were produced in several configurations; the late variant matches simplified wartime production.
Join the glazed bodywork and the small photo-etched parts carefully, the photo-etch with cyanoacrylate glue. Use liquid modeling cement on the plastic, spray a primer and lay the shades on with an airbrush. Mask the glazing before spraying; tune the weathering with a wash and fine pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
