Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:72 scale is meant for a plastic model of the American Curtiss P-40N Warhawk fighter. It is not a kit or a model in its own right but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want sharp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage fields without slow hand-cutting of tape.
The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk is an American single-seat fighter of the Second World War with a liquid-cooled Allison V12 engine. The N version was the last main production subvariant, lightened and with reworked rear cockpit glazing for a better view. The P-40 was flown on many fronts and became known for its toughness and for its typical long engine cowling with the radiator scoop under the nose.
Clean and degrease the canopy glazing. Lift the masks off the backing, lay them on the frames of the windscreen and of the sliding section and press them into the edges. Fill small cutouts with a strip of tape. Spray the paint with an airbrush in two thin layers. The wheel masks separate the tire from the rim. Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off carefully at an acute angle.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
