Quinta Studio 1:72 P-47D Thunderbolt Razorback - 3D printed interior offers color printed raised cockpit detail on a decal carrier paper for P-47D razorback models.
Responsibility details are not available.
A color 3D printed cockpit interior from Quinta Studio in 1:72 scale. The detail is printed in several layers on a decal carrier paper, so the instrument panel and the side consoles look three-dimensional and stand out more than an ordinary decal. It is not photo-etch or resin and it is not an aircraft kit, but an accessory for sharpening the interior of a P-47D model in the razorback version.
The Republic P-47D Thunderbolt in the razorback version represented the early marks of this heavy American fighter, recognizable by the pronounced spine of the fuselage behind the cockpit, that is, before the bubble canopy was introduced. It was a rugged, durable machine used both for fighter work and for attacks on ground targets in the Second World War.
First brush the cockpit surfaces with a gloss varnish (Future, Klear or Tamiya X-22) and let it dry. Cut the part from the sheet, dip it in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slide it off the paper into place; it has no adhesive layer of its own and holds precisely on the gloss varnish. On busy surfaces a drop of super glue helps. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as their chemistry attacks the printed resin. The pre-printed colors need no painting.
This is an accessory decal set, not an aircraft kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
