Eduard P-47M Thunderbolt 1:72 is a photo-etched detail set for sharpening a plastic model of the Republic P-47M Thunderbolt fighter. It is a metal accessory, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard is intended for sharpening a plastic model of the heavy Republic P-47M Thunderbolt fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not an airplane model but a set of fine metal parts that replace and complete the details that are hard to render in injected plastic at this scale. As a rule it enriches the cockpit and other small features of the model.
The Republic P-47M Thunderbolt was among the last and fastest versions of this heavy American fighter from the end of the Second World War. It was powered by a high-output turbocharged Pratt & Whitney R-2800 radial engine and was created, among other things, to catch fast German targets. It was used in Europe, above all with the 56th Fighter Group.
The parts are separated from the fret with a sharp knife, bent over an edge and bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Pre-printed color self-adhesive items are laid down without varnishing, while unpainted parts are sprayed together with the model. Tweezers, magnification and experience are needed.
This is an accessory photo-etched set, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
