P-51B / P-51C Mustang, the original canopy - cut painting masks 1:72 from Peewit are precisely shaped self-adhesive masks for the cockpit of this American fighter aircraft. It is not a kit but a masking accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely cut self-adhesive painting masks in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Peewit. The masks in thin masking (washi) tape follow the division of the frames of the original framed cockpit canopy of the P-51B and P-51C Mustang fighters and are usually complemented by circular masks for the wheels. It is not a kit and not a model - it is a masking accessory for a clean, quick coat on the glazing. The pre-shaped pieces take the place of laborious cutting of tape.
The North American P-51B and P-51C Mustang were American fighter aircraft with a dorsal spine (the so-called razorback) and a framed cockpit; in the Royal Air Force they carried the designation Mustang Mk.III. This set corresponds to the original framed canopy, not to the later bulged form (the Malcolm hood).
For modelers in 1:72 scale who want clean framing of the cockpit on the razorback version of the Mustang with no laborious cutting of tape.
This is a masking accessory, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
