Eduard SPACE: the cockpit of the P-51D-10 Mustang (1:72)

This SPACE set from Eduard combines 3D decals on backing paper with pre-painted photo-etched steel parts. It brings a relief-shaped instrument panel, side panels and seat belts for the cockpit of the American P-51D-10 Mustang fighter in 1:72 scale. It is neither a kit nor a standalone model; it is a detail set that replaces the flat plastic parts of the interior and gives even a tiny cockpit color depth.

Use

• only the backing paper is moistened with a damp sponge and a drop of detergent, the element is lifted off with tweezers and fixed with white PVA glue, as it has no adhesive layer of its own
• the photo-etched steel belts are shaped and glued with cyanoacrylate; the manufacturer does not recommend it on the 3D decals
• in this small scale tweezers and good lighting help; do not use a decal softener, as the chemicals attack the printed resin
