Responsibility details are not available.
This pre-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:72 scale is intended for a plastic model of the American North American P-51D Mustang fighter. It is not a kit and it is not a model in its own right, but a set of precisely shaped masks made of thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want sharp paint transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage areas without lengthy cutting of tape by hand.
The North American P-51D Mustang is an American single-seat fighter of the Second World War with a V12 Merlin engine. The D version is the best-known sub-variant, with the bubble canopy that gave the pilot an excellent all-round view. The Mustang stood out for its range and escorted bomber formations deep over enemy territory, where it was among the most successful fighters of its day.
Degrease the glazing of the bubble canopy and let it dry. Take the masks off the backing and lay them on the frame of the windshield and on the sliding section, pressing them into the edges. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin coats. The wheel masks separate the tire from the rim. Once the paint is dry, peel the masks off carefully at a sharp angle.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
