Hobby Boss 1:72 Panzerjäger-Triebwagen 51 is a plastic kit of the German armored railcar from the end of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from Hobby Boss. It captures the unusual German armored railcar Panzerjäger-Triebwagen 51, intended for fighting from the railway. The model is made up of a larger number of parts in gray polystyrene and its length once assembled is considerable.
The Panzerjäger-Triebwagen 51 was a German armored railcar designed at the end of the war as mobile anti-tank and fire support along railway lines. It carried 7.5 cm guns derived from the armament of the Panzer IV tank. Only a few were built and the machines practically never reached combat service, which makes the subject a rare and attractive one for modelers.
Because of the length of the car, take care that the running gear is glued straight. Use thin cement for plastic and glue the small parts with cyanoacrylate. After a primer, apply the late-war German camouflage schemes with an airbrush; traces of rust, dust and lubricants on the running gear and chipped patches on the armor look very effective.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
