Rolls-Royce Armoured Car Pattern 1920 Mk.I 1:72 from Roden - an injection-molded plastic kit of the British armored car.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale represents the British Rolls-Royce Armoured Car in the Pattern 1920 Mk.I variant. The package contains plastic parts and decals for several marking options. It is the Mk.I variant (not the later Mk.II), with the turret and conventional wheels.
The Rolls-Royce armored car was based on the chassis of the luxury Rolls-Royce 40/50 Silver Ghost and made its name as early as the First World War. The Pattern 1920 version was an interwar modernization with a new turret; it remained in service into the start of the Second World War, when the cars patrolled in Egypt and in the British Isles, for example.
Glue the plastic with liquid cement and take care over clean joints on the hull and the turret. After spraying a primer, paint it with an airbrush or a brush - sandy and gray shades both suit, depending on where it served. The weathering (dust, mud) is created with washes and pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
