1:72 Pe-2 decals from the Czech manufacturer Bilek are a stand-alone sheet of markings for a plastic model of this twin-engine bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a sheet of wet decals in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Bilek. The package holds no plastic parts and no kit, only markings to add to or replace the decals from your own box. The particular schemes and their number are stated on the box and in the instructions for the set. Before use we recommend laying the sheet against the parts of the model and checking the position of the markings.
The Pe-2 is a Soviet twin-engine all-metal aircraft of the Second World War, used in the bomber and reconnaissance roles. It stood out for a high speed in its category, twin fins at the tips of the horizontal tail and a glazed forward fuselage. It was built in large numbers and in several production versions, which differ in the details of the glazing, the engine nacelles and the armament — which is exactly why it pays to compare the markings with the particular version you are building.
The small scale puts the stress on a thin coat of varnish, so that the small markings are not lost. Varnish the surfaces with a gloss clear coat compatible with the paint used, soak the decal briefly in warm water and let it release on paper. Move it across with a soft brush, draw off the water and use a decal softener to settle it into the engraved lines. Once dry, unify the surface with a matte varnish, which beds the edges of the film in and keeps them from lifting.
This is an accessory — a sheet of decals. The kit, paints, glue and varnishes are not included in the package.
