1:72 PE upgrade set for the PZL P.37 Los is a set of photo-etched parts for improving a model of the Polish PZL.37 Los bomber, intended for IBG Models kits.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not an aircraft model but an accessory set of photo-etched metal parts. It serves to refine the details of a model of the Polish PZL.37 Los bomber in 1:72 scale and, according to the maker, it is designed for IBG Models kits.
The photo-etched parts replace or add to the plastic ones where injection-molded plastic runs into its limits: thin sheet, fine mesh, straps and small fittings look markedly truer in etched metal. The set thus lifts the level of detail of the finished model without changing its basic construction.
The PZL.37 Los was the most modern Polish bomber of 1939 - an all-metal twin-engine machine with a remarkable bomb load for its size. During the September campaign the Los aircraft flew raids against the advancing German columns, and some of the machines then escaped to Romania, where they served on.
Separate the parts from the carrier fret with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface, bend them with tweezers with smooth jaws or with a bender and glue them with super glue applied with a pin. Degrease the metal and use primer before painting, or the paint will not hold well.
The set contains accessory photo-etched parts only - the basic aircraft kit is not included in the package.
