This plastic kit in 1:72 scale represents the modern Chinese ZTZ-99A main battle tank in service with the Chinese People's Liberation Army. The parts are injection-molded and the model offers finely rendered surface relief and running gear. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and paints and glue are not included.
The ZTZ-99A (Type 99A) is the most advanced version of the Chinese Type 99 main battle tank, a third-generation tank. It is distinguished by powerful gun armament, a modern fire control system and composite armor with additional protection. The public knows it well from military parades in Beijing, where it appears as the pride of the Chinese ground forces.
On a vehicle, assemble and paint the running gear and the lower hull first and only then close the hull up - the details are harder to reach later. Spray the base coat with an airbrush and use washes and pigments for mud and dust effects. It is practical to paint the tracks and the road wheels separately before final assembly.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
