The SNB, the National Security Corps, was an armed security corps that carried out police tasks in Czechoslovakia. The figure represents one of its members in the vz. 67 uniform in the olive finish, in the form it had in 1987. A figure in uniform is readable at once in a period scene and tells the viewer what time and what setting it is about before he looks at anything else.
One figure in 1:72 scale. A figure matching a person around 175 centimeters tall measures roughly 2.4 centimeters in this scale, that is a little less than the width of a thumb. The range of parts and the way of assembly are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Before painting, wash the figure in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap and let it dry perfectly; only then apply a thin primer. A tiny figure will take only a few coats, so thin the paint and apply it in small amounts. Lay the olive shade of the uniform on over the whole area and let the darker wash stay only in the folds and the lighter tone on the shoulders and the elbows. Suggest the skin with a single shade. Choose the way of gluing according to the material of the figure: whatever is not of polystyrene you will join with cyanoacrylate glue.
It suits street scenes, models of period vehicles in 1:72 scale and the enlivening of a display case as well. In a scene it works best where the figure has an obvious reason to be standing: by a vehicle, by the entrance to a building or at the edge of the roadway. The package contains only the figure; paints, glue and a base are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
