Responsibility details are not available.
Self-adhesive masks from the Czech manufacturer Peewit for a plastic model of the Italian Reggiane Re.2002 aircraft in 1:72. The set serves to cover the canopy glazing quickly and precisely while spraying, so that the clear parts stay untouched and the frames have sharp edges. It is not a model but an accessory meant for a particular kit in this scale, so check the compatibility before buying.
The Reggiane Re.2002 was an Italian single-engine aircraft of the period of the Second World War, derived from the Re.2000 fighter series. Unlike its predecessors it was given a radial engine and was adapted for attacks on ground and naval targets, that is for the role of an attack and dive bomber with the ability to carry a bomb load. It is marked by a more angular canopy with several frames, whose masking by hand is slow work in a small scale.
Release a mask from the sheet with tweezers and lay it on degreased glazing that is clean and free of fingerprints. Press it down with a soft tool so that the edge seats along its whole length. It works to spray the frames first in the interior shade and only then in the outer camouflage coat. Apply the paint in two thin layers, as a heavy layer creeps under the edge of the mask more easily and tears when the mask is lifted. Remove the masks as soon as the paint has set.
The package holds masks only. The model, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
