The T-62 was a Soviet main battle tank brought into service at the beginning of the 1960s as a development of the T-54/55 series. It was the first production tank in the world to receive a 115 mm smoothbore gun. The Mod. 1972 version was marked out by the addition of a 12.7 mm anti-aircraft machine gun at the loader's hatch. The T-62 spread to a number of armies and took part in many conflicts of the Cold War.
Assemble and pre-paint the running gear before closing the hull. Glue the plastic with liquid modeling cement and sand the joints down. The base is a gray-green primer, and over it Soviet green from an airbrush; bring out the details with a deep wash, the edges with drybrushing, and use pigments to lay dust and mud on the underside and the track runs.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
