A colored photo-etched set from the Zoom line by the Czech maker Eduard in 1:72 scale. It contains pre-printed self-adhesive photo-etched parts which sharpen up above all the pilot's cockpit of this aircraft. It is not an airplane model but an accessory applied to a base kit; that has to be obtained separately.
The Zoom line concentrates on the most visible items of an interior, typically the instrument panel, the side panels and the seat belts. The parts are printed in color and self-adhesive, so they go on easily and with no need for further painting. The exact contents and extent always follow the instructions enclosed in the package.
The Grumman S-2 Tracker was an American carrier-based anti-submarine aircraft powered by two piston radial engines. The designation S-2F refers to one of its versions. The Tracker served to find and destroy submarines from aircraft carriers and was operated by a number of allied navies as well.
