Eduard 1:72 S-2F Tracker are die-cut painting masks for precise masking of the cabin glazing and the other transparent parts of the model of the carrier antisubmarine aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely die-cut painting masks from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:72 scale. It is NOT a model but an accessory for modelers: self-adhesive masks of kabuki tape that cover the cabin glazing and other areas that are to stay clear while spraying. Thanks to them the glazing frames come out straight and sharp without laborious hand masking.
The Grumman S-2 Tracker was an American-built carrier antisubmarine aircraft of the 1950s. It had a high-mounted wing and two radial engines, long endurance, and it carried equipment for finding and destroying submarines. It served with the US Navy and a number of allied navies for several decades.
The masks are die-cut to the shape of a particular kit in this scale. Lift the piece off the sheet, lay it on the glazing and press the edges down with a pointed stick along the engraved lines. Spray the frame color and peel the mask off. Kabuki tape holds well and leaves no adhesive.
This is a set of masks, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
