Responsibility details are not available.
A set of unglued plastic figures in 1:72 scale from Zvezda. The package holds about 16 mounted riders with horses. The figures are meant to be assembled and painted and suit dioramas as well as tabletop games of the Napoleonic period.
Cuirassiers were heavy cavalry protected by a metal cuirass and a helmet. From 1810 to 1814 the Saxon cuirassier regiments belonged to the cavalry of the Kingdom of Saxony, which was an ally of France at the time and took part in the Napoleonic campaigns, including the invasion of Russia in 1812. Their main weapons were a straight-bladed sword and a cavalry pistol.
Separate the parts from the sprue and join the riders to the horses. Use cement for plastic or cyanoacrylate glue. Lay down a base coat, paint by brush or airbrush and bring out the metal cuirass and the helmet with a metallic paint and a dark wash. Look up the uniform colors for the particular regiment.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and bases are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
