Dragon 1:72 Sd.Kfz. 182 King Tiger (Henschel turret) is an injection-molded plastic kit of the German heavy tank Tiger II with the production turret.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German heavy tank Tiger II in 1:72 scale from Dragon, in the variant with the production turret known as the Henschel turret, with its flat front. The model captures the massive hull with sloped armor plates, the long gun and the running gear with its large road wheels. The kit consists of plastic parts on sprues, unless stated otherwise.
The Tiger II, nicknamed Koenigstiger or King Tiger, was a German heavy tank of the closing stage of the Second World War. It combined heavily sloped frontal armor with a long 88 mm gun able to destroy Allied tanks at long range. Most vehicles received the so-called Henschel turret with a flat front and a better internal layout, which replaced the earlier Porsche turret with its rounded front.
Assemble and align the running gear before closing up the hull; in this small scale, watch for clean joints. Separate the small parts with a sharp knife and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. Lay the base color down over a primer with an airbrush; the typical German three-tone camouflage and fine washes with dust pigments will bring out the armor plates and the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
