Eduard 1:72 Seatbelts USN early are colored photo-etched safety belts for models of the early carrier-based aircraft of the US Navy. It is a detail accessory for a cockpit, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A colored photo-etched set of safety belts from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:72 scale, rendered as belts of the early type used by US naval aviation (the US Navy). The pre-printed colored belts with a faithful structure and buckles replace the flat plastic suggestions and bring the seats in a cockpit to life. The set is conceived as a universal accessory for several types of aircraft of the matching period. It is not a model of an airplane but a detail accessory; the base kit has to be bought separately.
The early belts of US naval aviation were used in the cockpits of the carrier-based machines of the period around the Second World War. In 1:72 scale plastic only suggests the belts, which is why a photo-etched rendering with a color print noticeably raises the fidelity of a cockpit.
Nip the belts out carefully and bend them on a hard surface so that they drape over the seat naturally. They are glued with a small drop of super glue. The colored rendering is not painted over, it is only fixed with a matte varnish as needed. Work with tweezers, as the parts are very small.
The accessory is supplied separately. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
