An Eduard 1:72 set of painting masks for the Avro Shackleton AEW.2 makes the precise spraying of the glazing frames and other surfaces easier.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive painting masks of the Eduard brand in 1:72 scale for the British Avro Shackleton AEW.2 aircraft. It is not a kit or decals but masks die-cut from a fine masking tape, which cover the frames of the canopy and the glazing precisely during spraying; Eduard aircraft sets usually include masks for the wheels as well.
The Avro Shackleton was a British multi-engine aircraft derived from the Lincoln bomber. The AEW.2 version served with the Royal Air Force as an airborne early warning machine and flew in that role until the 1990s.
Peel the masks carefully off the backing, lay them precisely on the frames of the glazing and press them down so that no paint runs under the edges. Remove the masks once the paint has been sprayed and has set. For the flat surfaces between the frames, filling in with tape or a masking fluid is used.
This is an add-on masking set, not a model. The kit itself and paints are not included in the package.
