1:72 Skies

Hauler Skies 1:72 (photo-etched set)

This is a photo-etched set of accessories in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker Hauler. It is neither a model nor a kit but an accessory in thin metal etching that serves to refine and sharpen the detail on a model. The photo-etched parts replace or supplement the elements that injection molding in plastic cannot render finely enough.

Use

• Separate the parts carefully from the fret and shape them if the instructions call for it.
• Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); degrease the surface for firm joints.
• Apply a base coat (primer) to the metal before painting for better adhesion.
• Fine edges and surfaces are rewarding to bring out with a wash once painted.

Who the set is for

• More advanced modelers who want to raise the level of detail on a model.
• Builders with experience of working with photo-etched parts and cyanoacrylate glue.

It is a photo-etched accessory. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
