1:72 Skyhawk TA-4J - OA-4M one-sided painting mask for Hobby2000/Fujimi

Art Scale 1:72 Skyhawk TA-4J / OA-4M, single-sided painting mask

A set of pre-cut masking templates of kabuki tape for the plastic model of the two-seat Skyhawk in the TA-4J and OA-4M versions in 1:72 scale. The masks are cut to measure for the particular kit of this type and serve for spraying the framing of the lengthened canopy and the wheels cleanly. The single-sided variant covers the outer side of the glazing.

How the mask works

• Numbered parts with instructions for precise application.
• The kabuki tape follows the shape of the framing and does not let paint run under.
• Masking for the wheels ensures a sharp transition between the hub and the tire.
• After spraying, the film peels off without adhesive residue.

The real subject

The TA-4J and the OA-4M are two-seat versions of the American Douglas A-4 Skyhawk attack aircraft. The TA-4J served the US Navy for pilot training, while the OA-4M was used by the Marine Corps for forward air control and observation.

Who the mask is for

• Modelers who want to spray a two-seat cockpit precisely without hand painting the framing.
• Builders who prefer pre-cut masks to conventional tape.

The set contains masking films only. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
