The Z-37A is a Czechoslovak single-engine agricultural aircraft with fixed landing gear and a high-set cockpit, a machine built for work low over the fields. The figure represents a pilot whom a Czechoslovak film linked with this type, and so it is a welcome addition to any scene with a field airstrip or an aircraft ready for takeoff.

Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little from the part and sand the rest down carefully so that the shape is not lost. Wash and degrease the figure before painting, otherwise the paint will not hold on the smooth surface. Choose the glue to suit the material of the part; super glue holds reliably on most materials. It is practical to paint the figure separately and fit it right at the end. Lay the base tones down first, then put a darker tone into the folds of the clothing and lighten the raised areas, so that the figure does not look flat in a small scale. Leave the face until last and work on it with the finest brush you have. Tie the finished figure together with matte varnish, leaving only the eyes and any glossy elements in gloss.
