An injection-molded plastic kit of the Swedish Strv 103C tank in 1:72 scale from Trumpeter. The model captures the characteristic layout without a rotating turret. The package holds plastic parts, flexible tracks, decals and assembly instructions.
The Strv 103, nicknamed the S-tank, was a Swedish tank with an unusual layout that had no rotating turret. The main 105 mm gun was fixed in the hull and was aimed by turning the whole vehicle and changing the tilt of the suspension. The C version represents the modernized configuration with further changes. The vehicle served the Swedish army during the Cold War.
Assemble and paint the running gear, the hydropneumatic suspension and the tracks before you finish the hull. An airbrush and careful masking of the hard edges suit the Swedish multi-color splinter scheme. Tune the weathering with a wash and dust pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
