A finished collector's model of the StuG III Ausf.E from Easy Model in 1:72 scale - a German assault gun from the Eastern Front, supplied assembled and painted.
Responsibility details are not available.
A finished collector's model of the German self-propelled assault gun Sturmgeschütz III in the Ausf.E version in 1:72 scale from the Easy Model brand, in a finish corresponding to service on the Eastern Front (Sturmgeschütz-Abteilung 184, Russia). It is not a kit - the model comes from the factory assembled, painted and carrying markings of the period, usually with a base as well. It is enough to unpack it and display it.
The StuG III was a German tracked self-propelled gun built on the chassis of the Panzer III tank, with a low, fully armored superstructure and no rotating turret. The Ausf.E version from the beginning of 1942 was one of the last with the short-barreled 75 mm gun, still before the change to a long barrel for antitank fighting. The StuG assault guns were among the most numerous and, in combat, the most successful German armored vehicles of the Second World War.
The model is meant to be displayed, not built. Protect it from dust and from direct sunlight. Any fine-tuning of a winter or dusty look can be done with pigments and a wash, but the model looks complete even without any work on it.
