SU-122P 1:72 is an injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet self-propelled gun from UM.
Responsibility details are not available.
This kit represents the Soviet SU-122P self-propelled gun in 1:72 scale. It is an injection-molded plastic model from UM, usually complemented by a small photo-etched fret and a decal sheet. Link-and-length track links and separate running gear parts tend to be part of the set.
The SU-122P was an experimental Soviet self-propelled gun based on the chassis of the SU series tank destroyer. It carried a powerful 122 mm gun in a fixed fighting superstructure. The vehicle remained at the prototype stage and was never taken into series production, which makes it a rarely kitted subject.
Assemble the running gear and the tracks first, and only then close the hull and fit the superstructure with its long barrel. Glue the plastic with liquid cement, treat the surface with a primer and spray with an airbrush. You will bring the Soviet dark green (4BO) to life by lightening the surfaces and with washes in the recesses and dust pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
