This is a resin accessory in 1:72 scale from the Czech brand Quickboost (part of the Aires family), not a model in its own right. The set contains the canard foreplanes of the Su-34 Fullback tactical bomber and replaces the corresponding parts of the base kit with more accurate and finer castings.
The canards ahead of the wing are one of the aerodynamic features of the Su-34 and are clearly visible from the side and from above. The Quickboost resin parts have crisp leading edges and a faithful profile, so once fitted they sharpen the look of the front of the aircraft where the plastic parts tend to be thicker and less clean.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and dry-fit them; glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Prime before painting and blend the shade with the surroundings.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as resin castings. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
