About product

Sukhoi Su-57 mask set (1:72, Eduard)

A set of precisely die-cut yellow kabuki masks from the Czech company Eduard for a model of the fifth-generation Sukhoi Su-57 fighter in 1:72 scale. The masks serve to frame the canopy glazing and to mask the wheel discs while spraying with an airbrush. The thin kabuki material follows the rounded shapes of the canopy well and leaves no glue behind once removed. The cut matches the parts of the corresponding plastic model.

Use

  • Stick the masks onto clean glazing and press the edges down carefully against paint creeping underneath.
  • Spray the glazing with the interior color first, then with the final color of the frames.
  • Mask the wheel discs against overspray onto the tires.
  • Take the masks off carefully once the paint has flashed off, lifting a corner with a pointed tool.

Who the set is for

For modelers who want crisp canopy framing without laboriously cutting tape. Suitable for the more advanced and for careful beginners alike.

The set contains only painting masks. Paints, glue and the model itself are not included in the package.
