Eduard 1:72 Sunderland Mk.I (bomb racks) is a photo-etched set for raising the detail of a plastic kit of the British flying boat.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a set of photo-etched parts from the Czech manufacturer Eduard aimed at the bomb racks. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for raising the detail of a plastic kit of the British Short Sunderland Mk.I flying boat in 1:72 scale. The fine metal parts sharpen up the racks for the ordnance and their mountings, which are hard to mold in injection plastic.
The Short Sunderland was a British four-engine flying boat that in the Second World War served the RAF for long-range patrol and anti-submarine work over the Atlantic. On the Sunderland the bombs and depth charges were handled in an unusual way: once loaded, the racks ran out under the wings through hatches in the sides of the hull.
Separate the small photo-etched parts from the fret, bend them over a sharp edge and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Let the assembled racks dry thoroughly before fitting them; tweezers will make the work easier.
This is an add-on set, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
