Responsibility details are not available.
Injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet T-26 light tank, model 1933, in 1:72 scale from Mirage Hobby. This is the classic single-turret version with the 45 mm gun, the most numerous variant of the whole T-26 family.
The T-26 grew out of the British Vickers export tank and became the backbone of the Soviet armored forces of the 1930s. The model 1933 version introduced a single cylindrical turret with a 45 mm gun in place of the earlier twin-turret arrangement with machine guns. In this form the T-26 saw combat in Spain, in the Far East and in the opening stages of the Second World War.
Fit the vinyl tracks once the running gear is finished. Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic, and in this small scale work with a sharp knife and a fine file. Prime the model before painting. Soviet green, Spanish and captured-vehicle schemes all come alive with gentle lightening of the surfaces and weathering in the recesses.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
