Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet medium tank T-34/76 in the Model 1943 version in 1:72 scale from Trumpeter. The model is conceived as a quick-build kit with a low parts count, a molded gun and rubber band tracks. The package contains a decal sheet and assembly instructions.
The T-34 is one of the most significant tanks of the Second World War. The Model 1943 version is marked out by its hexagonal cast turret, nicknamed the nut, with better armor protection and more room for the crew. The combination of sloped armor, wide tracks, a powerful diesel engine and the proven 76 mm gun made the T-34 a difficult opponent and a model that later tank designs imitated.
Assemble and paint the running gear and the road wheels before you fit the tracks. You can bring the cast turret and hull to life with a fine casting texture. The base is Russian protective green; the surface gains depth from a dark wash into the grooves and seams, a dry brush on the edges and light dust pigments on the lower hull and the tracks. You can create worn metal on the edges with a graphite pencil or a silver pigment. In 1:72 scale restrained weathering reads more convincingly than bold effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
