A plastic kit of the Soviet T-34/85 medium tank with the S-53 gun in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian maker UM (UniModels). The model is supplied as injection-molded plastic to be assembled and painted, and it captures the widespread standard version of the T-34/85 series.
The T-34/85 with its 85 mm gun was the main Soviet medium tank at the end of the Second World War. The S-53 gun, and the standard type derived from it, became the usual armament of the three-man turret and replaced the earlier D-5T. The combination of a more powerful gun, mobility and a proven chassis kept the T-34/85 in mass production even after the war.
Finish the running gear before you close the hull and seat the turret with its longer barrel carefully. A primer works well, then Soviet protective green with an airbrush, washes in the recesses and dust or mud pigments on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
