Yahu Models 1:72 Turnbuckles is a photo-etched set of miniature turnbuckles for faithful bracing wires on biplanes and older aircraft in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a model but a photo-etched set of miniature turnbuckles in 1:72 scale. It serves to render the ends of bracing wires realistically on aircraft models, typically biplanes and older designs where the wire turnbuckles are clearly visible.
The fine photo-etched parts replace simplified or missing turnbuckles and markedly raise the level of detail where the wires anchor to the airframe, the wing or the landing gear. The parts are combined with rigging thread or drawn filament according to the modeler's own practice.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface, clean off the holding tabs and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or a small drop of photo-etch adhesive. Drilling a pilot hole with a fine bit helps when threading the filament. Working with a magnifier and tweezers is recommended.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a kit. The base model, rigging thread, glue and paints are not included in the package.
