Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit from the manufacturer IBG Models in 1:72 scale representing the Japanese Type 89 medium tank in the KOU version with a gasoline engine, in the mid-production configuration. The model is supplied as an unassembled set of plastic parts, usually with photo-etched parts and a decal sheet with several marking variants. For the exact contents of the package, follow the information on the box.
The Type 89 was a Japanese medium tank whose series production began at the start of the 1930s and which became one of the main tanks of the Japanese army. The KOU version used a gasoline engine. The vehicle had a crew of four men and was armed with a 57 mm gun and machine guns. It was deployed in the Second Sino-Japanese War and in further conflicts, where it held up against weaker opponents, but later it was already becoming obsolete.
First assemble and paint the running gear and the lower hull, and only then close the upper parts. Use liquid cement for plastic and add the fine photo-etched parts at the end. For a realistic look, a primer, matte paints and weathering with dust and mud on the running gear suit well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
