A decal sheet in 1:72 scale with markings for FJ-3 Fury carrier fighters of the US Navy, the second installment of the series.
Responsibility details are not available.
The FJ-3 Fury was a carrier fighter of the US Navy from the 1950s. It is based on the design of the swept-wing F-86 Sabre, adapted for service from an aircraft carrier: it received an arrestor hook, strengthened landing gear for hard touchdowns and a folding wing so that the machine would fit into the hangar below deck. Next to the land-based Sabre the Fury is therefore a rewarding subject, because it shows how much work it takes to move the same design onto a carrier deck.
A decal sheet in 1:72 scale with markings for FJ-3 Fury machines. The second installment designation distinguishes this sheet from an earlier release with the same subject and in the same scale; the two complement each other, each offering a different group of machines. Which specific aircraft and markings the sheet carries, and which kits it is cut for, is given in the instructions enclosed by the manufacturer. The color finishes of carrier machines of that period are among the more striking ones, so it is worth spending time on the markings on the model.
A decal sheet is supplied. The aircraft model, paints, clear coat and decal softener are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
