A format of 280 x 180 mm, the material acrylic three millimeters thick, a weight of 170 g. The print takes up the whole face and shows the flag of the United States of America. The manufacturer is the Ukrainian brand Kelik, which specializes in printed bases to go under models.
The stripes recall the original thirteen colonies, and the stars correspond to the number of states in the union. Today's form with fifty stars has been in force since July 1960, after Hawaii and Alaska joined the union. The flag is among the most frequently used motifs in modeling photography of all.
The dense drawing of the stripes is graphically very active, so small accessories such as plinths, pins or small figures are lost beneath it. It works best with one striking piece, say a fighter aircraft with a glossy metal surface or a dark green helicopter. Remove coarser pigments and dust from the area with a brush before you start wiping, otherwise you will rub scratches into the surface. Because American hardware was exported to dozens of countries, the board will serve under machines of allied armies too.
In the consignment you will find one printed board and nothing more.
