Kelik 1:72 – the rear section of the Vickers Valiant B(PR)K.1 cockpit in the form of color printing fills the space behind the pilots. The bomber comes from a plastic kit, which has to be owned separately.
Responsibility details are not available.
This accessory from the brand Kelik is devoted to the part of the cockpit that lies behind the pair of pilots. It consists of colored raised decals laid onto the finished inside of a kit of the 1:72 size. The name marks out the rear area; the pilots' section ahead of it is a separate item.
Besides the pilots, the Vickers Valiant carried crew members who sat turned to the rear and had before them walls full of dials, controls and distribution panels. It is precisely this corner of the fuselage that usually stays bare on built models: painting it dial by dial is tedious, and yet through the glazing and open hatches it can often be seen. The machine served the Royal Air Force from the mid-1950s, and the designation B(PR)K.1 belonged to the version with a bombing, reconnaissance and tanker role.
It is good to bring the base to a uniform dark shade and let it cure properly. The elements are then lifted off one at a time, always only at the moment when the place is ready for them. A damp brush will move them into position, a softener will pull them down to the surface, and a matte clear coat at the end will unify the whole corner.
It is applied into a finished interior. The kit, the paints and the auxiliary chemistry are not supplied with it, unless stated otherwise.
