The T-80BV is the version of the Soviet T-80B tank rounded out with blocks of explosive reactive armor on the turret and on the front of the hull. It is precisely these that give the machine its characteristic lumpy silhouette, by which it is recognized even on a small model. The T-80 line differs from the other Soviet tanks in its drive: in place of a diesel engine a gas turbine spins it up.
The sheet in 1:72 scale bears the serial number 15 in the series devoted to the war in Ukraine and is aimed at the T-80BV tank. It holds markings for this type, that is tactical insignia and numbers, which are placed on a model according to the breakdown in the instructions enclosed with the sheet.
Cut the element out tight to the print and soak it in lukewarm water for a few seconds. Once it begins to slide freely over the backing paper, transfer it onto a smooth, glossy and degreased surface. The blocks of explosive reactive armor make up a busy base, so it pays to help it along with a softener and to press the decal down carefully with a soft cloth. Once dry, go over the area with varnish so that the edges of the carrier film disappear.
The sheet will be appreciated by builders of present-day ground hardware in a small scale who want to bring a model to a particular form. The model, the paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
