This resin detail set contains faithfully rendered control surfaces for the Yakovlev Yak-3 aircraft in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory with which you replace the corresponding parts from a plastic kit and gain the option of showing the control surfaces deflected.
The Yakovlev Yak-3 is a Soviet single-seat fighter of the Second World War, valued for its low weight, its agility and its good performance at lower altitudes. It was among the most effective Soviet fighters at the end of the war.
Wash the parts to remove mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and sand the edges with respiratory protection. Cut the corresponding parts out of the kit carefully and seat the resin surfaces at a natural angle of deflection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin accessory for a kit. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
