Zouaves 1854-1871 in 1:72 scale is a plastic figure set from the manufacturer Emhar with French infantry of the 19th century.
Responsibility details are not available.
This plastic figure set in 1:72 scale captures French zouaves of the Crimean War and the Franco-Prussian War. The figures wear their characteristic uniforms with distinctive weapons and are meant to be glued and painted. The set suits dioramas as well as wargaming.
The zouaves were French light infantry famous for their colorful uniforms of North African cut. They fought in the Crimean War from 1854 to 1856 and in the Franco-Prussian War of 1870 and 1871. They were armed with rifles and with edged weapons.
Separate the parts from the sprues and clean up the parting lines. On softer plastic a primer underneath works well for better paint adhesion. Paint the colorful uniforms in layers and bring out the detail with a light wash and a dry brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
