An aftermarket accessory, not a whole model. The turned metal barrel replaces the plastic barrel from the kit and gives the British gun of 76.2 mm caliber a faithful straight profile and a sharp muzzle end.
The British 17-pounder gun of 76.2 mm caliber and 55 calibers in length was one of the most effective Allied anti-tank guns of the Second World War. It was used as a towed anti-tank gun as well as the armament of tanks and tank destroyers, and with special sub-caliber ammunition it could threaten even heavily armored German tanks at long range.
Remove the plastic barrel, clean up the mating surface and glue the metal barrel in with cyanoacrylate or epoxy. Degrease the metal before painting and go over it with a primer for the airbrush so that the paint holds.
This is a separate detail accessory (a metal barrel), not a complete model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
