A kit of the German Horch 901 staff cross-country car with the Kfz. 15 body of 1937. It is assembled without glue.
Responsibility details are not available.
Behind the Kfz. 15 designation there lies a body, not a chassis. It was an open four-door body with a folding canvas roof, which the German army used as a command, liaison and reconnaissance car. It was carried by the medium cross-country Horch 901 chassis with all-wheel drive, independent suspension and a sturdy frame, thanks to which the vehicle coped with field tracks and soft ground. Cars of this type ran with the staffs of practically every branch of arms and are today among the most frequently depicted military hardware of the 1930s and 1940s.
The model is assembled without glue; the parts fit together with a connecting system. The build is therefore clean, it manages without tools and the finished car can be taken apart and put together again at any time. The number of parts, the form of the wheels and the extent of the moving parts follow from the instructions enclosed by the manufacturer.
Go through the instructions step by step and do not skip ahead, because with this system the parts are often secured only a few steps later. Push the joints home straight, not at an angle, otherwise there is a risk of breaking a lug off. Put the chassis with the wheels together on a flat surface, so the car stands on all its wheels. Leave any painting to the parts you will not be taking apart afterwards.
The set is for collectors of military hardware and for builders who want a model without work with glue and paints. Paints, glue and a display case are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
