23rd SS Panzer Grenadier Brigade Netherlands Plaque 25mm is a diorama plaque with the badge of the Dutch formation given in the name. An accessory to a base, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
It is not a model of a vehicle and not a figure, but a emblem plaque for a diorama. It is fitted to a base, to a plinth or to the edge of a shelf and assigns a particular formation to a scene. The point of interest lies in the name itself: while the other items of the same range speak of a division, this one gives a brigade, which matches the fact that the formation had brigade strength for most of its existence. The size designation 25 mm is given in the name.
The formation came about in 1943 from Dutch volunteers who had previously served in the so-called Netherlands Legion. It was committed on the northern sector of the eastern theater, among other places in the area of the Narva river and later in Courland. It was redesignated a division only at the end of the war in 1945, when the original brigade designation in fact matched the real state of the unit better. The word Netherlands in the name refers to the national make-up of the men.
When you are building a scene from a Baltic setting, where gray and green tones prevail, the plaque easily disappears. It helps to fit it to a dark, slightly raised frame on the base and to leave the surrounding area calm. With lower bases it pays off to check that the plaque does not overhang the edge before you lay it on for good.
