A set of 24 small industrial light fittings cast in resin. They are neither working lighting nor electronics but a modeling accessory that is glued to the walls and ceilings of halls, hangars, workshops, warehouses and factory interiors. The small size is meant so that the fittings do not overpower the main model; they give the scene its sense of scale and fill in areas that would otherwise look empty and unfinished.

Preparation and painting

• Wash the castings to remove the mold release agent and cut the casting remains off, otherwise the paint will not hold.
• Glue with super glue, as cement for plastic has no effect on resin.
• Paint the body of the fitting in metal or in a factory green or gray, and the inside of the shade in a light color.
• Keep the inside of the shade lighter than its surroundings; the eye reads that as reflected light even when the fitting is not lit.
• A dark wash in the rim and a touch of rust on the mount suggest years of service.
• If you want real backlighting, bear in mind that neither a light source nor wiring is included in the set.

For builders of industrial and urban dioramas, hangar display cases, wargaming terrain and railroad modules. Thanks to the number of pieces the set will last for several scenes at once, and there is plenty to choose from even when laying them out in a regular grid.

The accessory is supplied unpainted. Paints, glue and lighting are not included in the package. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
