29th Waffen Grenadier Division Of The SS (1st Italian) Plaque 25mm is a badge plaque for a diorama. It serves to mark a base or a display case; it is not a model.

A diorama accessory, not a kit. The plaque with the badge of the unit is fitted to a base, a plinth or the edge of a shelf in a display case and replaces a paper label, which yellows in time. The essential detail in the name is the qualification 1st Italian in brackets, because during the war the order number 29 was carried in turn by two different formations. The size designation 25 mm is also given in the name.
The Italian formation with the order number 29 came about at the turn of 1944 and 1945 from Italian personnel after Italy concluded an armistice with the Allies in 1943 and its territory fell into two parts. It was committed in northern Italy and its existence lasted only a few months, until the end of the war. The same order number had previously been carried by an older body of another nationality, which was disbanded; the qualification in brackets therefore plays an important distinguishing role.
In a scene from northern Italy, where there tends to be a great deal of light plaster and dusty tones, the plaque will merge into a light base. Rather choose a darker ground beneath it, or fit it to a wooden plinth with a shade of its own. Before fitting it, check that you have the right one of the two items with the number 29, that is the one with the qualification in brackets.
