Heinkel He 60 is an aviation monograph written in German, the third volume of the Flugzeug Profile series. It is a book, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This item is a printed publication, not a model and not an accessory for a model. It belongs to the Flugzeug Profile aviation monograph series, in which each volume covers one particular type of aircraft. The text is in German, which matches the original title and the whole line.
The Heinkel He 60 was a German single-engine biplane on floats developed at the start of the 1930s. It was created as a shipboard reconnaissance machine intended to be launched by catapult from surface vessels, which dictated both its sturdy structure and the layout with large floats. It was a machine with its crew in open cockpits and with an inline engine. Once more modern types arrived it was gradually moved to coastal patrol and training duties. Aircraft of this category tend to be covered only in passing in the literature, so a monograph of its own is a welcome source for a builder.
For modelers who build interwar and early wartime floatplanes and are looking for sources on the color finish and on structural detail. Also for anyone interested in the history of shipboard reconnaissance and catapult aircraft. At least a basic knowledge of German is assumed, because the text is not in Czech.
This is a printed publication. It contains no model parts, no decals and no other modeling components.
