This item is not a model and not a figure, but a diorama accessory from Dynamo-Models. The plaque relates to the unit named in the name and serves as a permanent nameplate for a plinth or a display case. The size of 40 mm follows from the name of the product. The material, the number of pieces in the package and the surface finish are given on the box.
The division with the sequence number 32 belongs among the units raised only in the very close of the war, at the turn of 1944 and 1945. It came into being in haste out of assorted replacement and training elements and never reached full strength or full armament. It was committed in the defensive fighting on the river Oder and in the area east of Berlin. The word Volunteer in the name refers to the formal volunteer status of these late formations, which in practice often parted ways with reality.
Scenes from the close of the war suit a restrained treatment well, and a plaque is therefore a better choice than a large sign. You can also place it on the side wall of a plinth if the front view of the diorama is to be undisturbed. Sand and degrease the mating surface beforehand. When you stain or varnish a plinth, fit the plaque only after the surface has cured, so that the glue does not react with a still soft coat.
