Responsibility details are not available.
A small diorama accessory from Dynamo-Models with the emblem of the unit which the name gives as 38th SS Grenadier Division Nibelungen. The name gives the size of 40 mm. The unit of that designation belonged among the German formations raised only at the very end of the Second World War, in the spring of 1945. The item is not a model and not a kit; it is an accessory for marking a finished scene.
It is used as a descriptive element of a base or a display case. Placed on the front of a base under a figure or a vehicle, it gives a scene an unambiguous placing and at the same time unifies the look of a whole collection when there are several scenes in it. The subject comes out in two sizes, so it can be chosen according to how large a base will carry the plaque.
Clean the area of dust and grease before fixing it. The emblem stands out when you unify the background with a darker shade and carefully highlight the edges of the relief; a final thin layer of toning will match the differences. Lay out the position before you finish the base, so that the plaque does not intrude into the main subject and stays easily legible even from a distance.
